Adlan Parsa, PhD, LLM, DEA

President/CEO and Founder

Dr. Adlan Parsa is president and founder of Sabi University and CEO of Sabi Technology Enhanced Learning Inc. He has a DEA in Criminal Sciences, an LLM in International Law and a Ph.D. in Diplomacy and International Relations from Paris, France. Dr. Parsa has been working as a human rights lawyer and has co-founded several non-profit organizations in the Middle East related to Rights of Child. He had more than ten years experience in eLearning and technology enhanced learning and designed several LMS and educational platforms. He speaks English, Persian, and French. Sarah D. Raissadati, DBA, MSc, MA

Vice-President/Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Raissadati is co-founder and Vice-President of Sabi University. She has two Masters in Information Technology, and Computer Sciences from Åbo Akademi in Turku, Finland and she is currently completing a Ph.D. in Information Technology. Mrs. Raissadati has over fourteen years of work experience as a senior IT consultant and Manager and cooperates with international companies such as SAP, Accenture, Ciber and Tieto among others. She speaks Finnish, Swedish, English, French, and Persian fluently. Gary Robinson, PhD

Chief Academic Officer

B.A. Latin American Studies and Spanish Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. Ph.D., Organizational Behavior - Case Western Reserve University; Cleveland, OH. Dr. Robinson has a multi-faceted career integrating the synergies of different sectors, Public, Private, Academic, and Non-profit International. In the public sector, Dr. Robinson worked for the US Agency for International Development in El Salvador, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic in health care management. He served as Program Training Chief for the Peace Corps in Central America, Panama and the Dominican Republic in Washington, DC. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Colombia. In the private sector, he worked as a human resource manager for the Boeing company in the 767-747 and Jetfoil Boat programs, and as a corporate internal Audit manager and as assistant to the corporate vice-president-controller. Internationally, in addition to his public sector work, he worked at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland as a manager of Health Systems Development that focused on the 32 poorest countries and as a special assistant to the deputy director general on organizational change. He is an associate at the International Institute for Child Rights and Development in Victoria, BC. Academically, he has been a professor at Central Washington University, Chair of the Doctor of Management at the University of Phoenix, Chair of General Business at Capella University and Chair of the Doctor of Business Administration program at Concordia University-Chicago. Of note, he was named as a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International; was a member of the Board of Trustees of Chancellor and InterAmerican Universities, appointed by President Reagan to the Peace Corps National Advisory Council, a member of the Advisory Board of the School of Advanced Studies in Organizational Consulting, Santiago, Chile, and Chair of the Board of Management Metrocenter YMCA, He is a reviewer for the Academy of Management, has published chapters in three books and presents at international conferences. Charlene Dunfee, PhD

The Dean

Dr. Dunfee is the Chief Financial Officer of a 40-year-old multi-million dollar computer company that develops software for material handling organizations worldwide. As the organization’s chief financial officer, she is responsible for both the supervision of fiscal activities and management of the firm. She has developed numerous classes for master and doctoral programs in traditional and for-profit universities. Her teaching experiences over the last 12 years have encompassed the undergrad, master's and doctoral levels, as well as international instruction at the masters and doctoral levels. She has received faculty of the year awards from two universities and outstanding faculty recognition from six other universities. Her educational philosophy prioritizes the exchange of ideas, the development of communication skills, and the appreciation for the learning process; these prioritizes are reflected in Dr Dunfee’s classroom methods and comprise her philosophy at all levels of education. Dr. Dunfee is a member of the Academy of Management, American Business Women’s Association and the NACA Heartland Association. Anne Marie Smith, Ph.D.

Program Director - EMBA and DBA in Data Analytics

Vice President of Education and Chief Methodologist with EWSolutions (http://www.ewsolutions.com) is a leading consultant and educator in Data and Information Management. Anne Marie is a frequent contributor to various information technology publications and was a major contributing author to the DAMA-Data Management Body of Knowledge (DAMA-DMBoK ©). Anne Marie has over 20 years of experience in enterprise data management initiatives and is considered an expert in enterprise data management assessment, enterprise data management program development, and metadata management; with numerous successful consulting engagements to her credit. She is recognized as a leader in the fields of data governance and data management strategy, and the development of data management focused analytics programs.

Dr. Smith is an acclaimed speaker/instructor and has presented numerous keynote addresses, courses, and seminars on many topics in the data management discipline. She serves as the Executive Editor of Data Management University (http://www.DataManagementU.com) and was Editor in Chief of the online journal Real World Decision Support.

Anne Marie received the degrees Bachelor of Arts and a Master's of Business Administration in Management Information Systems (MIS) from La Salle University; she earned a Ph.D. in MIS at Northcentral University. Anne Marie has earned the designations of Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Computing Professional (CCP) and Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP). She holds project management and facilitation certification.

Perry Haan, DBA

Program Director - EMBA and DBA Program 

Dr. Perry Haan has worked as a faculty member and administrator in higher education since 1986. He has won teaching awards at three different institutions of higher learning. He has taught in eight countries outside the U.S. In 2017 he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach and conduct research in Nepal. In 2010 he was awarded a Fellowship by the International American Association of Financial Management for his teaching and academic work in international markets.

Haan earned his Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Sarasota, Master of Business Administration from Xavier University and Bachelor of Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He has authored or co-authored over ninety peers reviewed articles that have appeared in conference proceedings and journals, including the Journal of Marketing in Higher Education and the International Journal of Sports Marketing & Sponsorship. He co-authored a textbook, Practical Statistics for Business. in 2016 he won an institutional Scholarship Award and has recently published two award winning conference papers.
